Also used on high traffic staircases and wooden floors that can become slippery when wet. It can be applied in two coats over a primer or it can be used as the last coat over a pre-existing finish. The product is easy to apply, it contains low levels of solvent and it will not yellow over time.   Bona Traffic HD Anti-Slip | How to use it Sand the floor or the staircase well and make sure that the surface is dry and dust free. Apply 1 coat of primer and allow about 2 hours to dry. Mix the lacquer with the hardener and allow about 10-15 min to rest. Using a small brush, apply the lacquer all over the hard to reach areas and areas around the skirting boards. For the larger surfaces use a varnishing roller. Remember, do not go against the fibre of the wood. Always go with the fibre of the wood. You can also use Bona Traffic HD Anti-Slip as a top coat on pre-existing finishes to make that particular floor anti-slip.
