We had an outdoor hose bib/hydrant that leaked from wherever the hose was connected last season – no matter how many washers/gaskets we tried or how tight it was. I used this on it before connecting the hose and can’t see any leaks. I just used it by hand and could see some of the gunk it removed. Much cheaper than replacing the spigot and easy enough that anyone can do it, if dirt & grime (and maybe some slightly worn threads) are the main causes of the issue.
