I have found that these are nice and handy for a few diifferent things. First off, as long as there isn’t other stuff in the way, I can easily pick up crickets to put in the vivarium to feed my lizards. There are holes for breathing in the scoop part (if needed) and they are clear so you can see what you have so, that is nice. The handles are pretty sturdy for being plastic. These grabbers can sometimes be a little bit awkward to work with, especially if you are trying to work around other objects but not bad. Also, I have used them to scoop out some of the dead crickets or old food. Plus, they are nice for spot cleaning different areas of the vivarium in between the whole cage cleanings which helps to keep it nicer and clean longer. The only thing I wondered about is how it says they are soft tops??? All I know is there is nothing soft on them. They are a hard plastic both the handles and scoop areas. I am glad that I got these because they have definitely come in handy.
