Alfa 4C steering wheel adapter for 500 Abarth

The experience gained manufacturing of steering wheel spacers and the Fiat bore/shaft gearcutting made this idea to become reality: install the steering wheel from the Alfa Romeo 4C on the Abarth 500. This change results in the loss of 500 steering wheel controls. To restore them, simply re-install the 500 steering wheel. Alfa 4C steering wheel must be purchased separately, any OEM 4C steering wheel is ok. Alfa 4C steering wheels were sold in 2 versions with 2 different orientations of the splined bore. This is hardly noticeable when you buy a used one online. We made the adaptor to work straightforward with both types of the 4C steering wheel. The 500 airbag can’t be installed on the 4C steering wheel, you will need an OEM 4C airbag too, to be purchased separately. The Abarth/Fiat badge on the 4C steering wheel has to be retrofitted. Installation is plug and play, no coding of the ECU is required. The whole system can be removed and the OEM 500 steering wheel can be reinstalled in any moment.
